Professor Ning Guang is a renowned expert in endocrinology and metabolism with over 30 years of professional experience. He was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2015. Professor Ning is dedicated to both clinical and basic research on endocrine and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, obesity, and endocrine tumors. Trained as a clinician in China, he completed his postdoctoral fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in the United States. He currently serves as Director of the Shanghai Institute of Metabolic Diseases, Editor-in-Chief of the Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism, Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Diabetes, Associate Editor of The Journal of Endocrinology and Molecular Endocrinology, and member of the Advisory Board for Nature Reviews Endocrinology.
